Python Developer

As a Python Developer at MicroGenesis TechSoft in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust Python-based applications and data pipelines. Your role will involve building and orchestrating workflows using Apache Airflow, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions, and optimizing existing systems for scalability, reliability, and performance. Additionally, you will participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments, and ensure code quality, documentation, and adherence to best practices. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Python development and strong hands-on experience with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. You should also possess experience with REST APIs, database systems (SQL/NoSQL), and data integration, as well as familiarity with version control systems like Git. Working knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts is a plus, along with a good understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential. Nice to have skills include experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, exposure to data engineering or ETL pipelines, and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
