Role Overview

Python Developer

You'll collaborate with fellow sr. developers, product lead, designers, and scientists to develop APIs and interfaces that bring multi-omics intelligence to life ensuring performance, reliability, and maintainability across our growing digital health platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using

  Python (Django, FastAPI)

  .
• Build and integrate

  RESTful APIs

  , ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
• Develop

  user-friendly front-end interfaces

  using

  React.js

  .
• Collaborate with fellow sr. developer,

  product manager, UI/UX designer, and domain scientists

  to deliver high-quality features.
• Write

  reusable, testable, and efficient code

  , with focus on modularity and maintainability.
• Integrate

  third-party APIs, services, and data sources

  .
• Implement

  security, authentication, and data protection best practices

  .
• Optimize applications for

  speed, scalability, and reliability

  .
• Participate in

  code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployments

  .
• Document software architecture, processes, and technical decisions.

Required Skills

• 13 years

  of programming experience in Python.
• Strong expertise in

  Django (ORM, DRF)

  and

  FastAPI

  .
• Proficiency in

  React.js

  (Hooks, State Management; Redux preferred).
• Experience building and integrating

  REST APIs

  .
• Familiarity with

  PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB

  .
• Experience using

  Git

  for version control.
• Understanding of

  Docker / containerization

  and exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
• Strong

  problem-solving and debugging

  skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of

  GraphQL

• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

• Exposure to

  microservices architecture

• Familiarity with

  testing frameworks
