Python Developer

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Python and Django.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code that adheres to best practices and SOLID principles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Perform unit testing and API testing to ensure software reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
• Optimize applications for performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews, sharing knowledge, and promoting best practices across the team.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and maintain existing applications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in web development.
• Ensure applications meet security and data protection standards.

Key Requirements:

• 4 to 9 years of professional experience in Python and Django web development.
• Proficiency in building RESTful APIs and integrating them with front-end frameworks.
• Solid understanding and application of software engineering principles, including SOLID principles.
• Experience in writing and executing unit tests using frameworks such as PyTest, unittest, or Django's testing framework.
• Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman, Insomnia, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and writing complex queries.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications is a plus.

Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):

• Insurance Domain Knowledge

  : Familiarity with the insurance industry and its specific software requirements.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with asynchronous programming in Python (Celery, asyncio).
