Job Role: Python Developer– UPI Systems & Serverless Architecture

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Python contractor with hands-on experience in Unified Payments Interface (UPI) systems and modern Python development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in building scalable, serverless microservices and integrating secure payment APIs. You will work closely with our engineering team to enhance and maintain our UPI-based transaction platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain

  UPI-integrated microservices using modern Python 3.

• Implement robust and reusable code using data structures, decorators, context managers, and functional programming paradigms.
• Build and consume

  HTTP APIs using Python

  libraries like requests.
• Ensure high-quality logging and observability using Python’s logging module.
• Develop and deploy serverless applications on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, etc.).
• Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests using Pytest.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient payment processing.
• Optimize performance and scalability of microservices in production environments.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong proficiency in

  Python 3

  , with deep understanding of advanced features.
• Experience with

  UPI systems and payment gateway integrations.

• Solid grasp of

  data structures, decorators, context managers, and functional programming.

• Expertise in building and consuming

  RESTful APIs using Python.

• Familiarity with Python logging best practices.
• Hands-on experience with

  AWS serverless architecture

  (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch).
• Experience in designing and deploying microservices.
• Strong Testing skills using

  Pytest

  and other unit testing frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality code on time

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with

  CI/CD pipelines

  and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, AWS

SAM).

• Knowledge of security best practices in financial applications.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and message queues (e.g., SQS, SNS)
