Python Developer

Role Overview: As a Python Developer at BDx, you will be part of a dynamic development team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications and automation tools to support data center operations and digital services. Your passion for coding and problem-solving will be crucial in building scalable solutions using Python and Flask. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services using Python and Flask. - Build RESTful APIs to support frontend applications and system integrations. - Collaborate with DevOps, network, and infrastructure teams to automate workflows and monitoring tools. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Troubleshoot and optimize existing code for performance and scalability. - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team discussions. - Ensure secure coding practices and contribute to overall system reliability. Qualification Required: - Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. - 3-5 years of professional experience in backend development using Python. - Strong hands-on experience with the Flask framework. - Proficient in developing RESTful APIs and working with JSON/XML. - Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL. - Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices. - Working knowledge of Linux environments and command-line tools. - Experience in data centre automation, monitoring tools, or infrastructure platforms. - Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or OpenStack. - Knowledge of asynchronous task queues (e.g., Celery). - Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.
