Python Backend Engineer - Django/Flask

Role Overview

We are looking for a Python Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Django and Flask to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems.In this role, you will contribute to building robust APIs and backend services that power modern applications in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.You will work closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions while following best practices in software engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python, Django, and Flask.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend business logic.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL, including ORM-based data modeling.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams.
• Write clean, reusable, well-tested, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and agile ceremonies.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Python backend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Django and/or Flask.
• Proven experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD basics.
• Good understanding of authentication, authorization, and backend security best practices.
  

Nice To Have

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Basic understanding of frontend-backend integration (React/Angular APIs).
  

Education

• B.E. / B.Tech / MCA or equivalent technical qualification.
