Python Backend Developer

• Design sophisticated backend components, services, platforms, and Restful APIs forseamless communication with the front end
• Continuously reviewing the services and components and seeking opportunities forimprovements
• Identifying and addressing Tech Debt
• Influencing and delivering the product roadmap to improve our Key PerformanceIndicators and deliver tangible business value
• Developing the teams Software Engineering skills
• Owning the teams culture and ways of working, instilling a care for high qualiy codeand tests and for implementing best practices

Technical Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer InformationSystems, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with your peers through tosenior leaders
• Should be able to engage and influence others to collectrequirements, describe what youre doing, work through problems, and findproductive solutions
• Self-starter, able to handle ambiguity, navigate uncertainty, identify risks, and find theright people and tools to get the job done

Software Skills:

• Skillful in Python for developing scalable and maintainable software
• Database design and knowledge of PostgreSQL
• Strong Software Engineering Design capabilities and understanding ofComputational Complexity
• Skill ful in software engineering practices & best practices for the full softwaredevelopment life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source controlmanagement, continuous deployments, testing, and operations
