Python Automation Tester (Selenium)

Job Summary:

Python Automation Tester with Selenium

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain

  automated test scripts

  using

  Python and Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Design and implement

  test automation frameworks

  (PyTest, Robot Framework, or similar).
• Perform

  functional, regression, UI, and end-to-end testing

  for web applications.
• Integrate automated tests into

  CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps)

  .
• Identify, analyze, and report

  bugs and issues

  in collaboration with development teams.
• Write and maintain

  test cases, test plans, and test reports

  .
• Conduct

  cross-browser testing

  and ensure compatibility across different platforms.
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to understand testing requirements.
• Utilize

  APIs and database queries (SQL, REST API testing)

  for test automation.
• Continuously improve test strategies, automation scripts, and frameworks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors/Masters degree

  in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience

  in automation testing with

  Python and Selenium WebDriver

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  test automation frameworks

  like PyTest, Robot Framework, or Unittest.
• Experience in

  CI/CD integration

  for test automation.
• Solid understanding of

  XPath, CSS Selectors, and DOM structure

  for web element identification.
• Hands-on experience with

  API testing (Postman, REST Assured, or Python Requests library)

  .
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with

  Git/GitHub/GitLab

  for version control.
• Understanding of

  Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

  and testing lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  cloud-based testing tools

  (Selenium Grid, BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Knowledge of

  Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

  .
• Exposure to

  performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust)

  .
• Experience with

  BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Behave)

  .
• Knowledge of

  SQL and database testing

  .
