Job Description

As a Microsoft Purview Data Governance Consultant / Sr. Consultant with 5-8 years of experience, you will be responsible for developing and deploying solutions with Microsoft Purview or similar data governance platforms. You must have a deep understanding of data governance principles, including metadata management, data cataloging, lineage tracking, and compliance frameworks. Your proficiency in Microsoft Azure, especially with services like Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Blob Storage, will be crucial for this role. It would be nice to have experience in data integration, ETL pipelines, and data modeling, as well as knowledge of security and compliance standards. Your problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional team environments will be essential. Strong communication and documentation skills are required for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include leading the program as a Program Leader using Agile Methodology, providing guidance on Data Governance, Microsoft Purview, and Azure Data Management. You will be responsible for designing and deploying Microsoft Purview solutions for data governance and compliance, aligning implementations with business and regulatory requirements. Overseeing data integration efforts, ensuring smooth lineage and metadata management, and configuring data classification and sensitivity policies to meet compliance standards will also be part of your role. Collaborating with data teams to define and enforce governance practices, ensuring Purview services meet business needs, security, and compliance, leading data discovery efforts, monitoring and troubleshooting Purview services, and documenting best practices and governance workflows will all fall under your responsibilities. You will also be responsible for training users and mentoring Consultants in documentation and training efforts.,
