Job Description

Purpose of Job Reporting directly to the Marketing Communications and Pursuits Manager - Manila, this role supports the development of capability and opportunity documents using applicable tools, guidelines, and templates. Additionally, you will develop and implement opportunity response plans, including activities, deliverables, owners, and milestones, ensuring all outputs align with Stantec branding and meet high standards. Essential Functions Core responsibilities include material development, opportunity response coordination, and knowledge and process management. Material Development Liaise with the Pursuits Team and relevant operations personnel to support sales material development. Assist in the conduct of client, competitor, and market research as required in support of client and/or opportunity strategy development. Display creativity in applying graphics (such as photos, graphs, charts, etc.) to improve communication in written documents and give direction to the graphic design team as needed. Proofs and edits technical and non-technical documents for consistency. Assist in preparing written and graphical elements of sales opportunity response documents such as proposals, qualifications, and presentations following client requirements. Ensure adherence to standards and templates to present a consistent appearance/style in compliance with our branding guidelines. Updates/maintains non-opportunity specific/additional sales qualification and reference materials (including project and personnel profiles, images, collateral materials, etc.) within Stantec apps such as SMKC Opportunity Response Coordination Plan, organise, and direct all elements of RFP issue to submission, e.g. analyse client request, develop a response plan, initiate follow-up go/no go, facilitate strategy review, conduct kick-off meeting, manage and work with pursuit team to develop response sections, lead in-progress reviews, schedule technical, pricing and governance reviews, to ensure on-time response delivery within Stantec internal governance requirements. Develop win themes and integrate them throughout a proposal Update and reformat in MS Word, MS PowerPoint, or Adobe InDesign proposals, statement of qualifications, capability statements, and win themes. Coordinate the packaging and delivery of bids, proposals, EOIs, and tender documents via PDF format, including electronic tender sites, and as needed via print/hard copy format. Collaborate with the designated account managers and/or BC client managers to support the development of documented client strategies and related information. Create and modify existing marketing materials (CVs, project descriptions and boilerplate content to effectively communicate services, capabilities, and market messages related to proposals in hand. Support business developers in maintaining accurate Stantec Opportunities Pipeline (SOP) records for upcoming, ongoing, and submitted proposals. Supports maintaining and updating client registrations, including online procurement systems. Assist in tracking and monitoring opportunities with online procurement systems/portals. Assist in documenting pursuit debriefs and lessons learned. Knowledge and Process Management Share sales materials, information, knowledge, and best practices with other MBD team members. Contribute, participate, and support continuous process improvement of the Pursuits Team Individual Contributor Be accountable and drive quality by updating Pipeline and adhering to Stantecs style guide /branding initiatives. Manage own workflow/outputs within business priorities. Contribute by using your skills in bid writing / creative writing (where required). Undertake learning and development opportunities to enhance skills. People Support team and company initiatives. Promote and contribute to a sense of community, fun and team spirit. Communicate clearly and engage with your internal clients, team and colleagues in the office. Education Bachelors degree in marketing, Business, Communications or Engineering Other Requirements At least five years of working experience in business development or marketing. Experience working in the Engineering Consulting industry is desirable. Excellent English communication skills (verbal & written) Detail-oriented and organised, with exceptional prioritisation skills Demonstrated ability to provide critical thinking and critical thinking skills Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers, and clients, internally and externally Can work independently, collaboratively as part of a team, and in conjunction with senior management/executive staff Strong presentation skills in small or large group environments, with proficiency in presentation support tools (e.g., PowerPoint) Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. Proficient in Adobe Acrobat. Working knowledge of Adobe software such as InDesign and Illustrator. Work may be required after hours on weekends and sometimes on short notice. Must also be willing and able to travel
