Role Overview:

Purchase / Project Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase & Procurement

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials, sub-delivery items, and boiler auxiliaries.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage vendor development, supplier audits, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Monitor and control purchase budgets, cost reduction initiatives, and inventory levels.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and quality standards in procurement activities.

Project Management

• Plan, execute, and monitor boiler projects from order receipt to commissioning.
• Coordinate with design, production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and take corrective actions to avoid delays.
• Ensure projects are delivered within scope, time, and cost parameters.
• Handle client interactions, project reviews, and resolve technical/commercial issues.

Team & Reporting

• Lead and mentor the purchase and project execution team.
• Generate MIS reports on purchase, project status, cost variance, and supplier performance.
• Report directly to the CEO on project progress and procurement strategies.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of

  boiler parts, materials, and codes (IBR, ASME, etc.)

• Proven expertise in

  purchase, vendor management, and project execution

  .
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. in Mechanical
