Purchase Officer

You will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement processes, from sourcing to delivery. Your role will involve expertise in vendor management, with a focus on building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. You should be skilled in contract negotiation to secure favorable terms and conditions that result in optimal pricing and service. A key aspect of your job will be cost optimization, where you will consistently achieve cost savings through strategic sourcing, market research, and supplier evaluations. Additionally, you will need to implement procurement strategies aimed at improving efficiency and reducing operational costs. Collaboration and coordination are essential skills for this role, as you will be required to work cross-functionally with teams such as logistics, finance, and production to ensure smooth supply chain operations. Your analytical and problem-solving skills will be put to use in analyzing procurement data, identifying trends, and resolving supply chain issues. In terms of time and budget management, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of materials and products while staying within budget constraints. Familiarity with key skills such as searching vendors through platforms like Alibaba, Indiamart, JustDial, Indian Yellow Pages, and internet surfing, creating purchase orders using Busy software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools for mailing, maintaining records, and comparison will be advantageous.
