Purchase Officer

As a Purchasing Officer at Krishna Inn in Thrissur, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement activities of our company. Your primary responsibility will be to source and purchase materials, goods, and services essential for our day-to-day operations. You will need to evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products. Your key responsibilities will include researching and evaluating potential vendors, negotiating contract terms, tracking orders, maintaining records, managing inventory levels, preparing reports on purchases, ensuring compliance with company policies, collaborating with internal teams, and staying up-to-date with industry trends. To excel in this role, you should have proven work experience as a Purchasing Officer or similar role, a strong knowledge of vendor sourcing practices and supply chain procedures, hands-on experience with purchasing software, excellent negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analyses. A graduation degree is required. You should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, attention to detail and organizational skills, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite, ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail. This office-based role may require visits to supplier sites and other places. It is a full-time position with standard working hours, with additional hours based on workload.
