Brief of Job Profile: The Purchase Manager will be responsible for overseeing the university’s procurement activities to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective acquisition of materials, services, and equipment. Roles and Responsibilities: Planning, developing and managing all procurement and contractual aspects of projects related to BSDU procurement of diverse services and commodities (E.g: Information Technology, Electronic Equipment and instruments, machines, vehicles, foodstuffs, building maintenance materials, office supplies, construction, furniture) taking into account local economic and other conditions. Advising requisitioning Sections/ Faculties and recipient entities on the full range of procurement issues, providing support and guidance at all stage of the procurement cycle. Preparing/ overseeing preparation and distribution of the requests for quotations and managing/ quotations evaluation.
