Purchase Manager/Executive

As a Supplier Sourcing Specialist for Residential Materials, your primary responsibility will be to identify and select reliable vendors for construction materials, fixtures, finishes, and appliances commonly used in residential projects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that high-quality materials are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively to meet project requirements. Your tasks will include coordinating procurement schedules to align with residential project phases, negotiating competitive prices for bulk purchases of building materials, and verifying that all materials meet residential building codes, safety standards, and design specifications. It will be essential for you to manage inventory levels effectively to maintain a smooth workflow without excess stock while monitoring and controlling procurement costs within the project budget. Collaboration with architects, project managers, and site supervisors will be key to understanding material requirements and any design changes that may arise during the project. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting market analysis to identify new residential building products, sustainable materials, and cost-saving opportunities that can enhance the overall value of the projects. Documentation and reporting will be an integral part of your role, where you will be required to maintain accurate purchase records, generate procurement reports, and provide updates to senior management on purchasing status and supplier performance. Your ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with various stakeholders will be crucial for the successful execution of your responsibilities.
