Job Description

Source, evaluate, and finalize suppliers for raw materials, chemicals, consumables, and services.
Negotiate prices, credit terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost efficiency.
Issue purchase orders/contracts and monitor timely delivery of materials.
Maintain and update vendor database; conduct supplier performance evaluations.
Coordinate with production, stores, and maintenance teams for inventory planning and availability.
Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain proper procurement documentation.
Assist in cost control and budgeting by monitoring market trends.
Prepare and submit regular purchase reports to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Graduate in Commerce / Science / Engineering (Agriculture/Chemical preferred).
MBA / Diploma in Materials Management will be an added advantage.
45 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in fertilizer, chemical, or process industry.

Skills & Competencies

Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of fertilizer raw materials and chemicals.
Proficiency in SAP/ERP systems and MS Office.

Good communication, analytical, and cost-conscious approach
