Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with
vendors and suppliers
for raw materials, food ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
Maintain and update
vendor documentation
and supplier records.
Conduct
supplier follow-ups
for quotations, order status, and timely delivery.
Oversee
quality checking
of received goods in coordination with the kitchen and quality teams.
Manage
order confirmations
and ensure proper purchase order documentation.
Perform
stock checking
to maintain adequate inventory levels.
Prepare and maintain
Goods Receipt Notes (GRN)
and purchase reports.
Monitor
cost control
and ensure optimal purchasing strategies to reduce wastage.
Coordinate with the finance department for
invoice verification and payments
.
Ensure compliance with
food safety, hygiene, and company standards
in all purchase processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain / Business Administration / Hotel Management.
25 years of experience in
purchasing for bakery, restaurant, or food industry
.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP systems.
