Job Description

B.E./B.Tech. Chemical Engineering, having experience of 10-15 yrs in Manufacturing Industry related to Purchasing, Planning and Materials Management.
Decorative Paints Industry experience is must.
Working in the areas of annual budget development along with detailed strategies for the upcoming year including purchase price assessment, vendor share allocation etc., capacity review, study scenarios.
Conducting research to ascertain the best products and supplies of best value, delivery schedules and quality.
Streamlining systems and procedures for effective material management and inventory control through implementing different inventory control techniques.
Managing end-to-end of buying entailing price volume negotiations with vendors, anchoring Business Continuity Planning and forecast for raw materials to ensure lead time, zero-down time policy. Material availability at suppliers end to cater to needs. Ensuring Minimal Capital Block, Vendor Capacity Mapping to meet business demands.
Sourcing raw materials, packaging material : such as resins, pigments, chemicals, additives, packaging materials, ensuring timely availability of materials.
Liasioning between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers.
Ensuring timely processing payments and invoices.
