Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials
  • Maintain accurate stock records and inventory control
  • Coordinate with vendors for purchase orders, follow-ups, and timely deliveries
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, comparative statements, and purchase orders
  • Ensure materials are procured at the best quality, cost, and delivery timelines
  • Monitor minimum stock levels and avoid stock shortages
  • Verify invoices, GRNs, and coordinate with accounts for payment processing
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience in stores & purchase functions
  • Knowledge of inventory management and procurement procedures
  • Good communication and vendor negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / ERP systems
