Position: Purchase Executive / Officer
Salary: ₹50,000 per month
Gender: Male / Female
Qualification: Diploma Engineer (Mechanical / Industrial / Production preferred)
Experience: Minimum 2 years in Purchase / Procurement (preferably in Steel or Manufacturing industry)
Job Description - Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end purchase process for raw materials, consumables, and engineering items.
Prepare and issue purchase orders, follow up with suppliers for delivery and quality compliance.
Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure best price, quality, and delivery terms.
Coordinate with production, stores, and accounts departments for material requirements and payments.
Maintain vendor database and develop alternate supplier sources for critical items.
Ensure proper documentation of purchase records in ERP / Excel.
Monitor market trends and maintain cost control on key purchase categories.
Assist in procurement audits, vendor evaluations, and compliance processes.
Required Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Knowledge of procurement procedures and commercial terms.
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP / Tally preferred).
Ability to handle multiple vendors and timelines simultaneously.
Detail-oriented and organized working style.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, On-site at Khopoli Plant.
Working Days: 6 working days
