Key Responsibilities: Sourcing and Procurement: Identifying reliable suppliers, evaluating offers, and negotiating favorable terms and agreements. Supplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, resolving issues, and evaluating performance. Purchase Order Management: Creating and tracking purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery and accurate record-keeping. Inventory Management: Monitoring stock levels, placing orders to avoid shortages or overstocking, and coordinating with inventory and warehouse teams. Cost Analysis and Reporting: Preparing reports on purchases, including cost analyses, and contributing to budget management. Compliance: Ensuring all purchases adhere to company policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Market Research: Monitoring market trends, pricing, and product availability to make informed purchasing decisions. Collaboration: Working with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and collaborating with relevant teams to ensure smooth operations. Skills and Qualifications: Strong negotiation and communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of supply chain procedures and inventory management. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor's degree in a related field is often preferred. Experience in purchasing or a related field.
