JOB SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and Managing Dispatch:Organizing and overseeing the movement of goods or services from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules.
• Tracking and Monitoring Shipments:Utilizing tracking systems to monitor the progress of shipments, providing updates to relevant parties, and proactively addressing potential delays.
• Communication and Coordination:Maintaining clear and effective communication with drivers, warehouse staff, logistics providers, and customers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Record Keeping and Reporting:Maintaining detailed records of dispatch activities, including shipment details, delivery confirmations, and any discrepancies or issues encountered.
• Problem Solving and Resolution:Addressing and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the dispatch process, such as delivery delays, damaged goods, or incorrect orders.
• Ensuring Accuracy and Timeliness:Ensuring that all dispatches are accurate, complete, and delivered within the agreed-upon timeframe, contributing to customer satisfaction.
• Enforcing Policies and Procedures:Implementing and enforcing established policies and procedures related to dispatch operations, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
