Purchase Executive manages the entire procurement cycle, from finding suppliers and negotiating deals to ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of goods/services, focusing on value, quality, and adherence to company policy, involving market research, inventory control, and strong vendor relations to support operations. Key duties include sourcing, cost analysis, contract management, performance monitoring, and record-keeping, requiring strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Key ResponsibilitiesSourcing & Vendor Management: Research, evaluate, and select suppliers, build strong relationships, and monitor performance.Negotiation: Secure best prices, terms, and conditions with vendors.Procurement Process: Handle purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure compliance with quality/company standards.Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels, forecast needs, and optimize inventory turnover.Cost Management: Identify cost-saving opportunities and conduct cost analyses.Collaboration: Work with internal teams (production, finance, etc.) to understand needs.Reporting: Maintain accurate records, invoices, and prepare purchase reports.Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and regulations.
