Responsibilities
Processing Purchase orders of the customers
Research potential vendorsCompare and evaluate offers from suppliersNegotiation with vendors for better prices and deliveryNegotiate contract terms of agreement and pricingTrack orders and ensure timely deliveryReview the quality of purchased productsEnter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databasesMaintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information, and invoicesPrepare reports on purchases, including cost analysesMonitor stock levels and place orders as needed|Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storageAttend trade shows and exhibitions to stay up-to-date with industry trends
Requirements and skills
2-6 Years of work experience as a Purchasing Officer, Purchasing Agent, or similar role
Working Knowledge of Tally|Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors)Understanding of supply chain proceduresSolid analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysesNegotiation skillsBSc in Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field
