Purchase Executive

As a Purchase Executive in the field of Interior Design, you will play a crucial role in the procurement process by sourcing high-quality materials, managing vendors efficiently, negotiating costs, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods essential for interior projects. Your responsibilities will include sourcing and procuring materials such as furniture, fixtures, lighting, and decor items according to project requirements. You will be expected to identify and assess new suppliers, maintain strong relationships with vendors, negotiate pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules to achieve cost-effectiveness. Raising purchase orders, tracking shipments, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining quality control, and compliance with project specifications are also key aspects of your role. Furthermore, you will be responsible for keeping procurement records, generating reports on purchases and costs, coordinating with design and project execution teams for procurement planning, and staying informed about market trends, materials, and innovations in interior design products. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Interior Design, or a related field, along with 4 to 5 years of relevant purchasing experience in the interior design, construction, or architectural industry. Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills are essential, along with a good understanding of interior materials, finishes, and suppliers. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with ERP systems will be beneficial. Your ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously, coupled with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, will be critical for success in this role.
