Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, price, delivery time, and service.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions as per company policy.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure the best value.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with internal departments (accounts, production, logistics, etc.) to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Track and ensure timely delivery of materials; follow up on delayed or incomplete orders.
• Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier information, and pricing data.
• Conduct regular market research to identify new vendors and assess market trends.
• Support in vendor audits and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Tally).
• Attention to detail and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management (freshers may be considered for junior roles).
• Experience in [mention specific industry, e.g., manufacturing, construction, or FMCG] will be an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
