As a Mechanical Engineer / Diploma Holder in Mechanical with 10 years of experience in the Manufacturing industry, your role will involve the following responsibilities: - **Vendor Communication:** - Maintain strong relationships with vendors. - Review purchasing agreements. - Resolve any discrepancies with deliveries. - **Inventory Management:** - Monitor stock levels. - Anticipate needs based on sales data or reports. - Ensure timely replenishment. - **Order Processing:** - Process purchase orders. - Track shipments. - Update records including dates, vendors, quantities, and discounts. - **Research and Analysis:** - Conduct market research. - Identify potential vendors. - Analyze cost trends to optimize purchasing decisions. - **Administrative Support:** - Maintain purchasing records and databases. - Handle other administrative tasks to support the purchasing department. - **Quality Assurance:** - Ensure received products are in good condition. - Confirm products meet quality standards. - **Cost Savings:** - Identify opportunities for cost savings. - Implement process improvements. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be working full-time in a day shift at the company's in-person work location.
