Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Receive incoming materials and verify quantity and quality against purchase orders and invoices.
Label, organize, and place materials on shelves or designated storage areas.
Maintain accurate inventory records using software and manual logs.
Conduct periodic stock checks and report discrepancies.
Issue materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
Ensure proper storage conditions to prevent damage, loss, or theft.
Coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment of stock.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store.
Prepare reports such as daily stock, inward/outward logs, and consumption records.
Follow safety procedures and company policies regarding materials handling.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience
: 13 years in a similar storekeeping or inventory role.
Skills
:
Knowledge of storekeeping procedures and documentation.
Basic computer skills (MS Excel, ERP software, Tally, etc.)
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to lift moderately heavy items (if required).
Preferred
: Experience in Hotels and Resorts ,
