Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchase Officer based in Pune. The Purchase Officer will be responsible for overseeing procurement processes, managing supply chain activities, coordinating with suppliers, evaluating vendor proposals, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. The role involves maintaining strong relationships with vendors, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and monitoring market trends to make informed purchasing decisions.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Procurement and Supply Chain Management to effectively manage purchasing processes and logistics.
• Strong Analytical Skills to assess demand, evaluate vendor proposals, and ensure cost optimization.
• Excellent Communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams effectively.
• Experience in Customer Service to build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Knowledge of inventory management and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in relevant software and ERP systems.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred from cutting tool background company
• Experince 6 to 8 years preferred
