Key Responsibilities:

• Secure media coverage across top-tier and niche publications by leveraging existing journalist relationships.
• Pitch drafted stories, press releases, and founder profiles to relevant reporters and editors.
• Proactively identify new media opportunities and trend-based story angles for clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers.
• Track coverage, measure impact, and share performance reports with internal teams.
• Collaborate with strategy and content teams to ensure stories align with client positioning.

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in PR, media relations, or communications.
• Proven network of media contacts across business, startup, and tech publications.
• Excellent communication and pitching skills — confident in dealing directly with journalists.
• Strong understanding of the startup and founder ecosystem.
• Highly proactive, organized, and outcome-driven — you get the story placed, not just pitched.
