Aavas Financiers is seeking a skilled and strategic Public Relations & Corporate Communication Manager to lead our external and internal communications efforts. This role is crucial in shaping the brand narrative, maintaining a positive public image, and managing relationships with media, stakeholders, and the broader community. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PR, corporate storytelling, media relations, and crisis communication. You will work closely with leadership, cross-functional teams, and external agencies to ensure that our communication aligns with business goals and resonates with target audiences. Key Responsibilities: Public Relations & Media Management Develop and execute PR strategies that enhance the companys image and positioning Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media outlets, and industry influencers Write and distribute press releases, media kits, op-eds, and executive quotes Organize and manage media interactions, interviews, and press conferences Monitor media coverage and prepare regular PR performance reports Corporate Communication Create and manage internal and external corporate communication plans Craft compelling messaging for company announcements, leadership updates, and CSR initiatives Oversee content for corporate website, social media channels, investor communication, and newsletters Ensure messaging consistency across all platforms and communication channels Collaborate with HR and leadership on internal communication and employer branding initiatives Crisis Communication Develop and manage crisis communication protocols and response strategies Serve as a key point of contact for managing sensitive situations and media queries Prepare holding statements, FAQs, and coordinate with legal teams where necessary Stakeholder Engagement & Events Manage communication with stakeholders, industry bodies, and community partners Coordinate with internal teams for events, webinars, product launches, and town halls Support brand reputation initiatives and thought leadership campaigns Monitoring & Analytics Track media trends, competitor PR activity, and brand sentiment Analyze PR campaign outcomes and provide actionable insights Use media monitoring tools to track performance and improve strategy Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in PR, media relations, or corporate communication (preferably in BFSI, fintech, or consumer brands) Strong network of media contacts and experience managing PR agencies Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in content development, messaging strategy, and media handling Experience with media monitoring tools and crisis communication management Ability to work cross-functionally, under pressure, and with senior leadership Preferred Skills: Experience with investor relations and financial communications Knowledge of social media communication and influencer marketing Ability to create presentations, briefing documents, and speech notes for executives Understanding of regulatory and compliance-related communication (especially in BFSI or public sector) Why Join Us?
