Public Health Officer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

1. Disease outbreak investigation:

   Monitoring and responding to outbreaks on campus.

2. Health program development:

   Creating and implementing initiatives for things like health education, vaccination campaigns, and wellness programs.

3. Policy development:

   Working to create and enforce health and safety policies for students and staff.

4. Data analysis:

   Using public health data to identify trends and evaluate the effectiveness of programs.

5. Community outreach:

   Educating the campus community on health topics and providing resources.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education:

  A bachelor's degree is a minimum, with a master's degree in public health (MPH) being highly beneficial for professional roles.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS: (To be filled in by the Reporting Authority)

• Experience:

  Prior experience in health programs, research, or policy development is often required.

• Technical skills:

  A strong understanding of epidemiology, biostatistics, and health systems management is essential.

• Soft skills:

  Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are crucial for interacting with diverse groups and managing public health challenges.
