Ptfe moulding machine operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable PTFE Moulding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) moulding machines to produce high-quality PTFE components according to specifications. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of moulding processes, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate PTFE moulding machines (compression / automatic / semi-automatic) to produce components as per production requirements.
• Load and unload moulds, ensuring correct alignment and settings.
• Monitor machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) and adjust as required for optimum performance.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
• Maintain production records, daily logs, and reports on machine performance and output.
• Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of machines, tools, and work area.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace and minimize material wastage.
• Coordinate with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Assist in mould changeovers, troubleshooting, and process improvements.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic, or relevant field (preferred not required).
• Experience: 0–3 years of experience in PTFE moulding / plastic moulding / compression moulding operations. Knowledge of PTFE properties, filled grades, and handling techniques is an advantage.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments.
• Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Physically fit to handle machine operations and raw material handling.
• Team player with attention to detail and strong work ethics.

Work Environment

• Location: Factory / Manufacturing unit.
• Shift-based work may be required.
• Use of PPE (gloves, mask, safety shoes) is mandatory.

Pay: ₹9,800.05 - ₹28,456.31 per month
