We are seeking a skilled and reliable PTFE Moulding Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) moulding machines to produce high-quality PTFE components according to specifications. The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of moulding processes, and adherence to safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Operate PTFE moulding machines (compression / automatic / semi-automatic) to produce components as per production requirements. Load and unload moulds, ensuring correct alignment and settings. Monitor machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) and adjust as required for optimum performance. Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects using measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges). Maintain production records, daily logs, and reports on machine performance and output. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance of machines, tools, and work area. Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free workplace and minimize material wastage. Coordinate with supervisors, quality control, and maintenance teams to resolve issues. Assist in mould changeovers, troubleshooting, and process improvements. Qualifications & Skills Education: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastic, or relevant field (preferred not required). Experience: 0–3 years of experience in PTFE moulding / plastic moulding / compression moulding operations. Knowledge of PTFE properties, filled grades, and handling techniques is an advantage. Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring instruments. Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Physically fit to handle machine operations and raw material handling. Team player with attention to detail and strong work ethics. Work Environment Location: Factory / Manufacturing unit. Shift-based work may be required.
