Psychology Counsellor

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Expertise:

• Conduct psychological assessments, therapy sessions, and mental health evaluations for patients in pain, post-trauma, or long-term rehab.
• Address issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and adaptation to disability.

Therapeutic Interventions:

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions using CBT, DBT, or relaxation techniques.
• Develop coping strategies for patients undergoing physical rehabilitation.
• Offer caregiver counseling to support family dynamics and recovery motivation.

Departmental Contribution:

• Collaborate with physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and neuro teams for integrated care.
• Maintain therapy records and progress documentation with confidentiality.
• Conduct in-house mental wellness sessions for staff and patients.

Research & Innovation:

• Participate in mental health awareness campaigns and behavior research projects.
• Develop psychometric tools suited for rehabilitation settings.

Business Enhancement:

• Organize wellness programs, mental health workshops, and stress management camps.
• Support hospital branding through public talks and community events.
