Health Care Foundation (HCF) is a non-profit organization based in Kozhikode, Kerala, established in 2010. HCF empowers individuals with intellectual and mental disabilities by providing special education, vocational training, medical care, and rehabilitation services. Additionally, HCF operates a Community Mental Health Clinic and a Disaster Management Unit to ensure accessible mental health services and support during emergencies, aiming to create a more inclusive and resilient community.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Psychologist at Health Care Foundation, located in Malappuram. The Psychologist will be responsible for providing counseling, conducting psychological assessments, and offering mental health support to individuals with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, and Multiple Disabilities. The role involves daily patient interactions, therapy sessions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to create comprehensive treatment plans.

Qualifications

Psychology and Counseling skills
Experience in Medicine and Mental Health
Expertise in Psychological Assessment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Experience in working with individuals with intellectual and mental disabilities
Master's degree in Psychology or related field
Licensure or certification as a Psychologist
