Prototype Development- Plastic

Role Overview: As a Plastic Prototype Parts Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop plastic prototype parts ensuring the desired quality and timely availability as per project schedule. You will also be responsible for target costing of plastic parts, molds, fixtures, and negotiating costs with suppliers. Key Responsibilities: - Study design data and drawings for part development - Utilize manufacturing knowledge of plastic molds and injection molding process - Familiarity with alternate manufacturing processes and secondary operations such as painting, plating, and surface coating - Understand the plastic raw materials used in automotive applications - Conduct part inspection, identify quality issues, and implement necessary countermeasures - Estimate costs of plastic parts, molds, and fixtures, source materials, and facilitate part development - Demonstrate project management, execution, and monitoring skills - Ensure quality control of prototype products according to design standards - Possess knowledge of quality management systems, particularly ISO/TS - Exhibit good communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers Qualifications Required: - Must have a zeal to take pride in work and support team deliverables - Must be open to learning and adapting to new challenges (Note: No additional company details were provided in the job description.),
