Prototype build technician - mechanical

Role Overview: You will be responsible for assisting in vehicle assembly and rework tasks during prototype builds. Your role will include maintaining detailed build documentation and records, as well as supporting troubleshooting and problem-solving during prototype development. Collaboration with engineering and quality teams will be essential to ensure build accuracy and quality. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in vehicle assembly and rework tasks during prototype builds - Maintain detailed build documentation and records - Support troubleshooting and problem-solving during prototype development - Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure build accuracy and quality Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering - 10+ years of hands-on experience in vehicle assembly, prototyping, or workshop builds - Strong practical skills and in-depth knowledge of 3-wheelers, particularly chassis, drivetrain, and brake systems - Proven ability to diagnose root causes of issues and implement effective fixes - Based in Pune, India - Basic understanding of English required, Hindi proficiency is a plus Additional Company Details: In this role, you can expect a high degree of freedom to be creative and innovative, allowing you to take ownership of your work.
