Proposal Writer - Business Development

Role & responsibilities

1. Proposal Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (clinical, regulatory, operations, etc.) to gather necessary information for proposals.
• Write, edit, and format proposals in response to RFPs from pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
• Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and highlight the unique capabilities of the CRO.

2. Content Management:

• Develop and maintain a library of standard proposal content, including templates, project descriptions, and case studies.
• Regularly update and improve proposal content to reflect the latest industry trends and company capabilities.

3. Project Management:

• Manage the proposal process from initial receipt of the RFP through submission, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Coordinate and schedule proposal review meetings, track action items, and follow up with team members as needed.

4. Quality Assurance:

• Review proposals for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with client requirements.
• Ensure all proposals are proofread and edited for grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

5. Client Interaction:

• Serve as a point of contact for clients during the proposal process.
• Respond to client questions and requests for additional information in a timely manner.

6. Continuous Improvement:

• Provide feedback on the proposal process and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate them into the proposal development process.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Excellent communication skills written and verbal
• Hands on experience with MS Excel and Power Point Presentation
• Should be deadline-oriented with strong time management
• Should be proactive and solution-oriented
