Proposal Engineer

As a Proposal Engineer at our company located in Vashi, Navi Mumbai, you will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals for clients based on project requirements. Your role will involve analyzing customer needs, providing customized solutions, and collaborating with the sales and design teams to develop competitive proposals. You will estimate costs, prepare quotations, and ensure competitive pricing while reviewing technical specifications to align proposals with industry standards. Handling documentation related to tenders, RFQs, and proposals will be a part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will collaborate with suppliers and vendors for pricing and technical inputs, assist in negotiations, and support contract finalization. Keeping records of proposals, revisions, and client interactions will be crucial, along with staying updated with industry trends and competitor offerings. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience in preparing proposals and cost estimation. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software is advantageous. Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential, along with the ability to work in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Being detail-oriented with strong analytical skills will contribute to your success in this position. This is a full-time, permanent position suitable for individuals with at least 2 years of experience as a Proposal Engineer. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the educational requirement is a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The salary offered for this position is up to 3.6 LPA.
