Promo Writer

Role Overview:

We are looking for a creative and passionate Promo Writer who can conceptualize and write engaging promotional content for our shows, digital series, and campaigns. The ideal candidate has a flair for storytelling, understands diverse audience preferences, and can craft compelling copy that amplifies Vertical TV’s creative voice.

Key Responsibilities:

Conceptualize, script, and write promos, teasers, trailers, and bumpers for Vertical TV shows and special programming.

Collaborate with producers, video editors, designers, and marketing teams to ensure alignment of creative vision and messaging.

Adapt and localize content across multiple languages and digital platforms (YouTube, OTT, social media, etc.).

Maintain brand tone and consistency while creating fresh, impactful, and platform-optimized copy.

Brainstorm new campaign ideas to promote viewership and audience engagement.

Write copy for digital assets, thumbnails, and channel banners when required.

Stay updated on entertainment trends, short-form storytelling, and digital content strategies.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, English, or related field.

1–5 years of experience in promo writing, copywriting, or scriptwriting—preferably in entertainment, media, or digital content.

Strong command of English (knowledge of Hindi or regional languages is a plus).

Ability to write short-form, high-impact visual content with catchy hooks and emotional resonance.

Excellent storytelling skills with attention to pacing, tone, and audience engagement.

A strong understanding of digital platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and OTT promotion strategies.

Creative mindset, fast turnaround capability, and openness to feedback.
