Job Description

Generation of Bacteriophages for Combating Bacterial Infections of the Skin and Musculoskeletal System.

Number of posts

Qualification

I st Class PG Degrees / Integrated PG with three years of experience or Ph.D. (Life Science/Biological Sciences/Engineering or Technology)
II nd Class PG Degree, Including the Integrated PG degrees, with PhD and three years of experience.

Desirable (if any)

The candidate should be involved in the sampling, susceptibility testing and designing the experiments to determine the killing effect of bacteriophages. Microbiology work background needed. He/she is also expected to work with whole genome sequences using bioinformatics-based data analysis. Bacteriophage work experience is not mandatory.

The position will be under the general supervision of the Project Director.
