Project Planner - Electrical

Role & responsibilities:

The incumbent will be responsible for the following:

1.Project planning, Monitoring, and coordination. - Plan and develop effective and proficient project plans for the project as per contract and specification. - Co-ordination with Engineering, Purchase, Contract Management team, Finance team, Project Manager at site. - Planning timely delivery of material, manpower and finance - Coordinating with the consultants & clients for the project progress and with the suppliers for the timely material arrangement and core follow up of day-to-day updates of Project activities and requirements. - Participation in project review meetings with the customers. - Coordinating with clients, subcontractors and workforce to meet project targets. - Updating knowledge on the technical and taxation front.

2. Timely completion of project -Understanding project specifications and developing time schedules and budgets that meet them. - Understanding of Critical Path (CPM) and resource loaded scheduling processes, physical progress tracking, and earned value analysis.

3. Project Management and Achieving quality assurance goals - Follow up with PMC in case of any technical issues clarification - Renewal of BG, insurance labour license

4. Risk assessment - Understand project loss and work towards having a proper mitigation plan - Should be able to analyse market scenario with respect to assigned projects

5. Organisational Initiatives - Active participation in Kaizens, Business Excellence and IMS - Participation in Internal and External audits whenever required

6. Manpower Management: - Should understand and manage actual vs required manpower at Project Sites - Should be able to efficiently manage manpower requirements in consultation with HR and Project Head - Work closely with Contracts Management and Logistics team for effective Project deliverables with respect to Contractual Labour
