Project Manager - Thermal Spray For Tumakuru

Role & responsibilities

• Technical responsibility of new product development and handing over for serial production
• Work with Sales, Customer and project team from scoping of work through submission of samples and getting qualification.
• Project scope including Gap review, process planning, PFMEA, Costing, preparation of work instruction, conducting trials on scrap / sample parts, FAI / PPAP qualification, first off / initial production lot execution and launch of serial production with proper training and handing over.
• Ensure all deliverables are delivered as per agreed timelines
• Finalization of Process Flow and project hand over to Production and Quality
• Continuous update of planning for realistic use of resources
• Adjust project organization to conform to project requirements
• In case of project goal hazard (result, date, costs, personnel): Escalation to CSC Members (Project Board) with an adequate proposal for solving the issue
• Ensure availability all necessary information to all positions out of the project organization
• Assures the coordination between different projects and to the line organization
• CRM project document management and ensure all documents are up to date
• Monitor & ensure performance indicators of CSC are achieved and share status to management
• Ensure safety requirements are considered & implemented during project stage
• Identify training needs, plan and conduct training, evaluate the effectiveness of the training and ensure employees are trained and capable of their respective roles.
• Active participation in CSC concerned budget and forecasting
• Support production & quality for failures analysis and developing preventive actions
• Plan corrective actions for internal and external audits points (Customer, BTS, Certification bodies) and ensure all corrective actions are implemented and validated.

Preferred candidate profile

• Must B.Tech / Diploma with minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience into

  new product development / project management in thermal spray coating process.

• Must have leadership capabilities willing to work in fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Must be ready to relocate to Tumakuru, Karnataka
