Job Description

Hiring for a leading speciality chemical manufacturing company having multiple manufacturing facilities in India. R&D is based out of Hyderabad.

Designation: Project Manager - R&D Chemical

Location: Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the single point of contact for R&D projects from initiation to delivery
Prepare and maintain Project Initiation Forms (PIFs), project trackers, and dashboards
Coordinate cross-functional teams (Process Development, Analytical, Scale-up and Supply Chain)
Track progress against timelines, budgets, and deliverables; escalate risks proactively
Support business development team in client interactions and new project proposals

Competencies:

Strong expertise in project planning, execution, and monitoring
Proficiency in MS Project / SAP Project Systems or similar tools
Excellent understanding of R&D lifecycle from lab development to scale-up and technology transfer
Strong stakeholder management with ability to coordinate between internal teams and external partners/customers
Strong communication, presentation, and documentation skills
Ability to manage timelines, budgets, and risk assessments

Qualification:

Nature of Experience:

8-10 years in managing R&D or CDMO/CRAMS projects in Pharma / Chemicals / Agrochemicals / Specialty Chemicals
Proven track record of handling multiple complex projects independently
Strong experience in client communication, project dashboards, and governance reviews
