Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Safety Management Systems (SMS) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Lead Safety Culture Transformation initiatives to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Conduct HAZOP studies to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
• Investigate incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
• Implement EHS Management Systems (ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001) to ensure effective management of EHS risks.
• Manage and coordinate projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance safety awareness and skills among employees.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of safety initiatives.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Safety, EHS, Project Implementation, or Training.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Prior team management or project coordination experience is essential.
• Graduate in Science or Engineering discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Safety Management Systems, Behavioral Based Safety (BBS), EHS Management Systems (ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001), and HAZOP Studies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
