Job Description

Role Overview: You will lead and oversee automation projects from initiation to completion. This includes developing project plans, schedules, and check points in collaboration with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for identifying project risks, developing mitigation strategies, monitoring project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines, and communicating project status updates to senior management and stakeholders. Additionally, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the team to develop project plans, schedules, and check points in collaboration with key stakeholders - Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies - Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and presentation professionalism - Communicate project status updates to senior management and stakeholders - Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and efficiency Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, Mechanical Design, or related field - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus - Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the automation industry and team leadership experience - Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in automation cross-functional teams project management work - Experience with Agile project management methodologies - Strong understanding of automation technologies and systems such as PLC programming, HMI systems, SCADA, and industrial communication protocols - Proficiency in project management tools and software - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities - Fluent in English communication Additional Details: Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality is essential. You should have a strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision-making and supervising department teams. Excellent communication skills are required to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and senior management. On-time reports delivery, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to summarize complex information and present key findings in a clear and concise manner are crucial for this role.
