Job Description

As a Project Manager at our organization, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various internal and external projects for one of our verticals. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that projects are executed according to schedule and budget, while keeping management, personnel, and stakeholders informed on a regular basis. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and update schedules for all project phases including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and closure. - Plan, organize, and monitor projects using necessary tools. - Coordinate with all involved parties regularly, analyze the critical path, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to stakeholders. - Develop and execute plans, establish governance, reporting, communication, and change management for strategic initiatives. - Collaborate with various teams to prepare reports and performance indicators. - Consistently provide project updates to stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments, and progress. - Monitor project budget and timeline, conduct periodic reviews to evaluate progress against goals. - Coordinate with operations for FTE requirements and resource management. - Propose solutions to correct identified gaps and ensure adherence to schedules. - Align cross-functional teams towards a common goal and recommend strategies that support business objectives. - Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution. - Monitor progress, make necessary adjustments, and perform any other tasks related to effective project delivery. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree considered a plus. - 5 years of insurance knowledge, with a preference for workers" compensation and liability knowledge. - Strategic thinker with proven leadership and project management skills. - Results-driven, with a thirst for learning and excellence, and ethical conduct. - Exceptional project and program management skills with a demonstrated ability to establish objectives, build work plans, assemble teams, and deliver results. - Strong communication and presentation skills, highly collaborative approach, proven ability to work cross-functionally within an organization. - Highly organized and detail-oriented, comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities. In addition to the above requirements, a PMI/PMP certification would be an added advantage. The ideal candidate will have 10-17 years of experience, with at least 3 years in project management, preferably in the insurance domain.,
