Project Manager, GDC

Role Overview: As a Project Manager at our India center, you will be responsible for managing implementation and transformation projects involving Guidewire core applications. This role will require you to lead an Agile (IT) team, collaborate with multiple partners, and work closely with customer business and technical staff. You may be managing multiple projects concurrently or working with a pod of developers, managing their backlog, and coordinating with internal partners to plan and schedule the backlog of work. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the project lifecycle of multiple projects simultaneously from start to completion. - Lead a Guidewire project team in an Agile environment, overseeing Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Scrums, and Retrospectives. - Facilitate meetings, ensure adherence to Guidewire methodology, and coach the team accordingly. - Manage scope, time, budget, goals, schedules, and strategy of projects. - Communicate project status to management verbally and/or in writing. - Identify, analyze, and prioritize project risks, and develop response plans. - Proactively manage partners to offset scope creep and maintain project integrity. - Maintain a positive implementation experience for customers. - Track financials and costs related to implementation partners. - Utilize software tools such as Jira, Rally, SharePoint, Confluence, and Microsoft Project Plan. Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of Project Management experience on sophisticated, enterprise-level software implementation projects. - Strong leadership skills with the ability to make effective decisions. - Proficiency in Agile, Lean, Six Sigma, or other project management methodologies. - Experience in resource management across multiple geographies. - Demonstrated ability in working with implementation partners and leading multi-functional projects. - Excellent communication skills (listening, written, and verbal). - Strong negotiation skills. - Ability to adapt quickly to new situations and work effectively within complex projects. - Technical knowledge of Java enterprise projects and proficiency in Microsoft applications stack. - PMP, Prince2, or equivalent qualification. - Degree in related information technology or business background.
