Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Oversight:

    Coordinate and monitor multiple concurrent development

projects, ensuring all are on schedule, within scope, and aligned with company goals.

  • Team Management:

    Oversee the day-to-day activities of developers. Assign tasks,

track progress, resolve blockers, and ensure optimal team performance.

  • Timeline & Deliverables:

    Create, manage, and maintain realistic project timelines

and delivery plans using Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.

  • Stakeholder Communication:

    Act as the primary point of contact for internal

stakeholders and external clients. Communicate status updates, risks, and changes

clearly and effectively.

  • Resource Planning:

    Allocate team resources effectively based on project priority,

developer skillsets, and workload capacity.

  • Quality Assurance Coordination:

    Work closely with QA teams to ensure timely

testing cycles and enforce standards for unit testing, integration testing, and regression

coverage.

  • Code Quality Oversight:

    Promote clean code practices and architectural consistency

across all projects. Track and reduce technical debt by ensuring maintainable, well-

documented, and modular codebases.

  • Code Review Process Management:

    Enforce structured code review processes.

Ensure peer reviews are conducted regularly, feedback is constructive, and action

items are followed through.

  • Risk Management:

    Identify risks and issues early. Develop mitigation strategies and

ensure escalation protocols are followed where necessary.

  • Process Improvement:Continuously evaluate and optimise workflows, tools, and team structures for improved software delivery and team productivity.

  • Documentation:

    Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation

including project charters, sprint reports, meeting minutes, and technical

specifications.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters a

plus)

  • 5+ years of experience managing software development projects

  • Strong understanding of C#/.NET technologies and software lifecycle

  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, or

Trello

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience working with distributed or cross-functional teams is a plus

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior hands-on experience as a C#/.NET developer (bonus)

  • Understanding of Git and code review workflows

  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL)

  • Experience integrating third-party APIs or legacy systems

  • Exposure to software projects involving communication with external/custom

hardware via serial, USB, or digital/analog I/O is a strong plus

  • PMP or Agile certification (preferred but not mandatory)
